Acgme Program Letters Of Agreement

An AA is required between institutions if all residents are shooting in at least one program for a necessary educational experience or if one of the institutions requests a full AA vs PLA for rotations outdoors. An PLA is required between a program and all sites where residents rotate for necessary training or tasks. The ACGME requires a Program of Agreement (PLA) for each participating program and site if the order is made for a month or more. The resident`s program/institution should launch it. 5. The PLA with each participating site is valid for 10 years as long as there is no change in the rotation, the site manager or the program director. When a change above occurs, a new PLA must be initiated. 3. The PLA must be signed by the Programme Director, Site Director and Director of Postgraduate Medical Education (DGME).

After the signing of the DGME, OGME will enter the PLA and upload it in New Innovations. If a document containing original signatures is available, it is returned to the program coordinator. Master Affiliation Agreement (MAA): an agreement that is concluded by the GME office to conclude an interconsectual agreement between the programs, as defined by the ACGME. The PLA meets the ACGME training requirements for programs. Affiliation Agreement (AA): an agreement required for rotations of thirty days or more; rotations required for all residents of a given program; and/or rotations to connected websites, which are hospitals or similar companies. 2. The Office of Graduate Medical Education (OGME) has developed a PLA model for programmes that is authorised by the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and meets all of the above requirements. Below is a table describing when a PLA is needed in relation to an affiliate agreement. Example: Membership agreement between plastic surgery program, SIU, SJH/MMC and receiving hospital 1. There must be a Program Agreement Letter (PLA) between the program and each participating website (outside of the sponsoring institution) that regulates the relationship between the program and the site that gives a necessary order.
